Branding Junior AFL

At Brand & Co, some projects are about more than design, they’re about giving back to the communities that have given us so much. Drummoyne Power Junior AFL Club is one of those communities.

Based at the picturesque Drummoyne Oval in Sydney’s inner west, this parent-led club offers local kids a safe, inclusive space to discover the joy of AFL. For our family, it’s personal, our two boys have laced up their boots for Drummoyne Power over the years, and we’ve seen first-hand the friendships, resilience, and confidence the game builds.

So when the club approached us to refresh their identity we were thrilled to get involved. Our goal was to create something as playful and loveable as the kids themselves, with a nod to superhero-inspired elements that young players could rally around.

The result? A bold, spirited identity that reflects the energy on the field and the community spirit off it. Seeing it rolled out across uniforms, signage, and social media has been a proud moment for our team and a small way we could say thank you to a club that’s been such a big part of our lives.
Here’s to many seasons filled with fun, teamwork, and plenty of goals.
