Repositioning a Heritage House
Founded in 1942, J Farren-Price is one of Australia’s most established luxury watch and jewellery retailers. For more than eight decades the business has served generations of collectors through its expertise, trusted advice and long standing client relationships.
The company holds a unique position within the industry. J Farren-Price is Australia’s longest standing partner of Patek Philippe and the country’s first authorised Rolex retailer, alongside representing many of the world’s most respected watchmakers and jewellery maisons.
Over time the prominence of these brands had come to overshadow the identity of J Farren-Price itself. Our role was to strategically reposition the brand and clearly articulate the business behind the watches and jewellery it presents. Through brand discovery and strategic development we defined a clear brand platform that captured the history of J Farren-Price while clarifying its role within the contemporary watch and jewellery landscape.
This strategic foundation informed the creative direction and digital experience for the brand. We established how the identity would be expressed across key touchpoints, from digital through to in store, positioning J Farren-Price as a luxury house in its own right.
